June 21, 201510 yr just above the bonnet pull there is a little compartment that opens with some type of device in with a number keypad on anyone tell me what this is?

July 28, 201510 yr I still think it's a suppressor for quitening RF interference from, likely the rear wiper motor from causing interference with radio reception. There are no RF leads (aerial) leads going to that box anyway, which there are on the aerial amp and which is usually a similar sized silver coloured box.
