leostuning Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 So as you can see I've got the engine totally stripped, believe it or not it is organised (all be it chaos) all over my unfinished summer house floor (engine taking priority). The crank doesn't look too bad but I'm not going to chance it. I've got a new one coming with ACL race bearings. Cambelt and water pump look recent so reusing them. I've also ordered new high flow oil pump, new sump (old one looked to be getting abit thin), lightweight flywheel and clutch kit, gasket kit obviously and some loctite 574 for sealing the block when I get round to rebuilding :) 1

leostuning Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Well the cranks arriving today. So i suppose when all the other bits arrive il start hopefully this week. Id like it on the road before mid november. Its out of mot but it had a pre mot and needed the one tyre to pass. Iv ordered 4 winter tyres for now. I am working7 days a week for the next 3 weeks so il be hard pushed to get it back in but i might get it rebuilt on a night :-) 1
