Couple months back I mentioned I had a flat battery on an 07 wrx impreza.

Long story short: bought a charger from halfords and was good to go for a few months.

Got in car yesterday, flat as a pancake, not even weak central locking mech!

Reckon culprit was drivers side cabin light but changed battery to silverline Yuasa anyway for peace of mind, as reckon battery was pretty tired and from original purchase anyway.

Took car out for spin with new battery installed, got back, heard some crackling from alternator, no leak from battery.

Anything to worry about or just new battery bedding in ?
