So I bought a baileys dump valve for my bugeye the only bother is it doesn't have the diamond shaped adaptor plate on what I'm.wondering is it.ok to put the dump.valve on and leave the port.coming from the intercooler open or do I need a the dumpvalve with diamond shapes adaptor on it

If the dump valve is not secured to the intercooler correctly it will constantly leak boost and you will lose power.

So could I blank the intercooler port off and put the two pipes.on that run to the dump.valve

No, you need the dump valve attached to the intercooler for it to make any noise as that is where the pressurized air is coming out of. You will need to blank of the pipe going into the intake which should be located below the dump valve. You will also need to attach the vacuum pipe to the dump valve (the smallest pipe)
