Hi guys

Just purchased a lovely 2008 subaru outback. Credit to its former owner. Apparently the Crankshaft went at 53000 miles, he had a short block engine fitted at some considerable cost. The car as just come up to the same millage with the new engine. what i am concerned about is could this happen again? or would it have been fitted with a revised part. I believe the original subarus came from subaru Sweden 2007/2009, and they were a faulty batch apparently. Any advise welcome. Thanks
