Hi all finally had the check engine light traced properly and it's showing front lambda sensor 

i read somewhere that the front one needs to be genuine OEM part , is this correct or can an aftermarket one be fitted

Can be used but you'll probablybe buying another generic one alot sooner than an oem part, buy cheap pay twice etc.

subaru specialist turned up with wrong one twice so went somewhere else and it's still the wrong plug
