Exhausts....

Hi chaps I'm looking for some advice. 

I have a 2007 hawkeye WRX wagon. 

It's already fitted with a japspeed 3" cat-back exhaust. I'm collecting some parts to go for a tad more power (vf43 turbo etc), so I want to fully decat it (downpipe etc) but there's a million different options on eBay etc, as I'm still new to the Impreza scene it's confusing the hell out of me. 

Am I correct in thinking any new age exhaust will fit ie anything but classic or the hatchback models? 

If this is the case will the exhaust fit regardless of if its running the standard turbo or a vf43.
