Guys, AA were called out to my car for unrelated issue ( my mum couldnt work out how to start it with immboliser and phoned the 4th emergency service before me)

They did plug in their diagnostics machine and found the following

Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Global OBD II - 000 / Global OBD II Status :P0302 - Cylinder 2.
Error Message : Misfire detected. Static faults. Status :P0136 - O2 sensor (bank 1, sensor 2).
Error Message : Malfunction. Static faults.suspect spark plug or lead or possible coil worn

I've recently bought the car and was aware of the engine light with the seller saying it had never caused issue/ was more hassle than worth to locate issue and have turned off.

Anyone that can help me decipher the patrol report and advise on whether its a worthwhile/ budget effiicient fix would be much appreciated.

David

First error is the rear o2 sensor... expensive to get new but cheap 2nd hand... I have one in my garage that I bought but didn't need it, not sure if it works or not.

2nd error... first thing to try would be to change the spark plugs and see if the error code comes back.
