Hi all. Just joined up and this is my first post. 

 

I've a 2005 (2006 my) forester 2.5 Xten turbo auto which I love to bits. It's in need of a new radiator but try as I might, I'm finding it impossible to source without going through Subaru Ireland (I live in Limerick) or from the US via ebay. I've tried a number of radiator dealers here in Ireland and the UK - providing them with the OEM number and none have any stock nor do their suppliers know when they'll have stock in. Subaru ireland want €515 for the rad... 

has anyone any suggestions on who to contact or best places to source a rad?

Hi & welcome chances are it will be identical to an impreza radiator of the same year, but the best place to try is

If you can't see it on the site, call them as they will be able to get one or point you in the right direction

I've mailed them as the part isn't in stock

Got a response advising 

unfortunately we cannot supply a radiator for this model

Think I may have found something in Northern Ireland though

Supplier in Northern Ireland let me down too. Have had a radiator customised for my Forester by a local specialist - just going to collect it now

Yep and it's working a treat! And a fraction of the cost too. €130 vs €515. No brainer
