Val Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum. I'm the proud and happy owner of a 2006 Outback 2.5 (fuel only) which I bought in 2009 with 36k on the clock. After all these years and 126k I am still in love with "her" on account of her extreme reliability and all the rest. The exhaust has now become a bit noisy, but my independent garage has told me that the only problem with it is just a small hole in the centre part. However I am not happy with the noise and rattling. I have done some research and my understanding is that it could be better to replace the entire system. Any suggestion/comments welcome! Thank you.
david1972 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 If you do, go for a custom built stainless steel system. Way cheaper than one from Subaru. When I had my outback I got a longlife system for £425 cat back. Looked and sounded lovely. Check their website for a franchise local to you Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Val Posted November 27, 2016 Author Posted November 27, 2016 Thanks David1972. I can't see any website.... another thing, was 425 the price for the whole system?
david1972 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 From the cat back, yes. Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
