Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum. I'm the proud and happy owner of a 2006 Outback 2.5 (fuel only) which I bought in 2009 with 36k on the clock. After all these years and 126k I am still in love with "her" on account of her extreme reliability and all the rest. The exhaust has now become a bit noisy, but my independent garage has told me that the only problem with it is just a small hole in the centre part. However I am not happy with the noise and rattling. I have done some research and my understanding is that it could be better  to replace the entire system. Any suggestion/comments welcome! Thank you.

If you do, go for a custom built stainless steel system. Way cheaper than one from Subaru.

When I had my outback I got a longlife system for £425 cat back. Looked and sounded lovely. Check their website for a franchise local to you

Thanks David1972. I can't see any website.... another thing, was 425 the price for the whole system?
