after some advise please

06 plate legacy estate rear tailgate handle not working correctly

think i may have a broken spring on the handle its self ?

have to put handle in closed position  in order to open tailgate

can you replace spring ? or is it a new handle

Those springs are notorious for rusting out. Mine has done just that. Just got used to manually returning the handle to the "closed" position.

can you buy the springs  ,repair kit ?

how big of a job is it to change. only had car a few weeks
