Hello everyone,

I have a 2005 Subaru Forester 2.5 XT. My TD04 turbo has blown and needs replacing, the part number on my turbo is 49377-04502. I have been looking at a number of replacements and have been offered a good condition 49377-04302. I understand that this is from an Impreza WRX and I was wondering if this would be a direct fit/replacement?

I have done a little research and while some say it will work fine with no alterations, others have said that the casing is slightly different and also the actuator may need swapping from the Forester unit.

This has left me a little confused, a state I find myself in a lot these days, and I was hoping that someone on here may be able to advise on the subject.

It should bolt starlight up, the only thing you'll need is some more studs (they always snap) and a gasket set.
