Hi guys so I bought a 2001 wrx wagon yesterday and there are a few problems with it that I overlooked because I was slightly excited. Doh. 

So the car doesn't lock. At all. The remote isn't doing anything and when I turn the key in the door I can hear it do something, but when you rotate the key to get it back out it sounds like it's unlocking... 

 

im going to take the card off and investigate later but I wondered if anyone has any ideas??

Have you started with a new battery in the fob ?
Could be many things but start with the simple &cheap things 1st before blowing loads of cash chasing stuff
