Hatchi
Windscreen chipped and now cracking ! Only had it a couple of months so pretty unlucky Also had an aftermarket DAB Head Unit and the aerial will now need replacing also. Bugger ! Question: Is the auto windscreen module above the mirror attached to the roof metalwork or the screen?

The screen, but it can be switched to the new screen, they MUST however bring a new subaru part gel pad otherwise you’ll have all sorts of problems, don’t let them use a generic gel pad. Just make sure you tell whoever is fitting the new windscreen, we didnt on our first one and it screwed everything up, ended up in a subaru main dealer having the software for the sensors. Hatchi
Thanks Turns out module is clipped to a metal mount attached to the screen. The new screen includes this mount so no drama

The sensors on the windscreen on the subaru are very temperamental. I’ve been through this before
