MuzzUK
So I have some funds in place and permission from the missus to buy a fun BUT sensible car with carrying space. It was a choice between a Subaru Forester or a newer Nissan Juke Nismo RS... the fozzie won! I am looking at either the Sports Cross 2.0 JDM version or the STI 2.5 using the SG5 chassis so I believe thats 03 to 07 right? I have owned a Fiat Coupe, Honda S2000, Civic Type R and Nissan Skyline in the past so have a decent idea about performance cars. It's been a good 3 years since I had something fun I'm currently in a Pope Mobile Yaris Verso ha! Whats the main differences between the sport cross and STI, I've heard the 2.5 engines can be a pain in terms of piston wear and tear. What should I be looking for when I test drive and inspect I've been told cam belts should be done by 55k miles. These cars are now 12-15 years old are they reliable enough for a daily commute of 20-30 miles or are we starting to see many age related problems? Thanks in advance Muzz!
