Has anyone had the genuine Subaru sensors fitted to their outback? 

 

Can they be turned off? The installation instructions look like you might be able too. 

A lot of dealers offer there own kit instead 

why would you need to switch them off ? do you tow ?

even aftermarket ones could be modded with a switch.

Yes i tow. I know some go off when they detect live towbar electrics.

it was more of interest after looking at the install instructions 

the sensors won't register the towball (even if it's a fixed type) but will spot the A-frame !!

Even a bike rack on the back sets ours off. Does my nut in.
