Leather/heated seats upgrade issue

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and grateful to be accepted. (and helped:-)

I just upgraded my 2008 Legacy estate to leather seats. They went in with little problem but now I'm trying to get the heated switch connected.

The switch went into a blank space on the center console but does not match up to the existing loom from the car. A 12v cigarette lighter type unit is the only thing connected but there are multiple wires in the loom so I'm assuming that it has other functions.

Therefore my question is: anyone done this before and can help?
