Will a Forester 2008 steering wheel fit a 07 Impreza?

So I'm really enjoying my new Impreza WRX, but I'm really missing the steering wheel controls from my old car. I've been scanning ebay and found a 08 Forester wheel with controls on, it looks like the air-bag would fit in the space and there's a video on you tube that makes it look like quiet simple, swapping the frame which holds the bag in place is really all that's required because Subaru place the screw holes in the same place.

Has anyone done this mod? Is it really as easy as the video made out? I won't be attempting it myself, I don't want a air-bag in the face if it goes wrong.
