3.0r spec b high clutch

Hello everyone I sold my 1998 impress turbo 3 years ago and been ragging around a Mazda 6 mps 320bhp since been a blast but want to go back to Subaru I'm looking at a 2006 3.0r spec b legacy saloon manual as love the look of the back end has all the toys and after being in my mates one couldn't belive how fast they are easy as fast as my 1998 turbo my worry tho is dealer has stated a very high biting point of the clutch is this true of these as herd it is cant test my mates as its sold its 51k on clock my impreza had a sweet clutch the Mazda was a nightmare so bitey. So are these cars ment to have a high clutch like on or off many thanks in advanced
