Immobiliser won't disarm

Had this issue a few times, car Battery only a few months old, fob Battery checked and fine, won't disarm when pressing the key fob. Tried putting the key in the ignition and pressing the fob button, alarm sounds repeatedly.

Do you have 4 digit pin code for alarm ?

Hi Mr B, 2007 and yes I do have the pin code for alarm, if it's correct that is!

I don't know where I could tap in the pin though?

There should be a keypad inside the fuse flap, near the drivers right knee.

Oh thank you! And if I tap the pin in will that allow me to start the engine?  Do I need to do anything else?

If your alarm is the same as mine this might inform.

Thank you! So this will work even when the fob won't connect? I could deactivate it by pressing 5 from just putting the key in the ignition?
