Orange light on dash Subaru Forester

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

I’m a new member & just wondered if anyone has insight / suggestions re orange light on permanently- it’s been like this for over 6 months.

I have tried disconnecting / reconnecting negative battery terminal - but that made no difference.

Can anyone recommend someone who can fix this in the East Sussex area  and roughly what it might cost ?
It’s a 2007 2.ltr petrol auto Forester.

I have a rattle from underneath on even the lightest  acceleration ( also seems a little sluggish) and wonder if this might be the catalytic converter adding to my problems ?

Any tips or advice warmly welcomed !!

many thanks ,

Bernard

I think more information is needed. What does the light/icon look like?

Any decent garage can do a diagnostics check for you. At worst, it's an emissions problem and perhaps an expensive new part. At best, it's a sensor that needs replacing.
