Imprezamike9028
I'm having trouble getting into reverse now an then, could my gearbox be on its way out?
Gambit
Have you tried putting it in reverse without the engine being on, and still have trouble? I would say the Synchromesh might be worn. If its why the car is running it could be the same thing but would swing more over to the clutch. Is the clutch slipping at all ?
Imprezamike9028
It seems okay while turnt off, the clutch isn't slipping but is a bit high on the pedal
Steve
wack the car in to 4th, handbrake right up and try and pull away slowly, if she stalls then clutch is fine, if she slips then you may need a new clutch mate

Imprezamike9028
Stalls when trying to pull away in 4th so I'm guessing its the gearbox then
Steve
hmm if it goes in gear when the car is off i am not sure if you turn the car off, put in reverse, foot on clutch and start car can you do that ok? then put in 1st then try and put back in reverse

Gambit
I still think its the clutch. Might not be worn enough yet to not slip
