Subaru Forester 2 litre diesel 2009

Hi just look for a bit of advance with my Subaru Forester 2.0 diesel 2009 it won’t go over 2000 revs the revs just go up and down from 1000 to 2000 like grunting u can drive it but slow or if u try go over when driving it looses all power and have to dip the clutch and release and go again it’s a strang one thanks in advance
