will vw golf wheels fit my subaru?

hi peeps just wondered if a set of r32 golf 18inch alloys will fit my classic shape subaru its a 1996 wrx turbo the kiddie is saying they will i have no reason to not trust him but just thought i would ask.

I can't see why not mate. But wouldn't want to give you a 100% yes

 

But I'm sure if the break Calipers don't get in the way and bolts line up fine worst case would be a spacer :)

 

I would just jack it up whip a wheel off and have a look anyway :)
