Is the attached photo the sump drain plug on my 2014 diesel boxer Forester? I have looked at You Tube but they all seem to be male hexagon plugs whereas, if this is my drain plug, it is a female allen key hexagon. I don't want to drain the wrong stuff!

Looks like the sump to me from the little that I can see and if it’s the bottom of the engine presumably have the oil filter nearby if engines out like the impreza. Maybe it’s just been replaced before. When in doubt pull it out lol. 
 

If you’re really unsure pull that under tray off and put up another picture or wait a little and someone will tell you for sure.
