Hello there i recently bought a 2007 inpreza wrx and the key fob had been working fine but over the past few days i would need to press the button a few times to lock/unlock and now it has completley stopped working, when i unlock the car with the key the immobiliser kicks in and i cannot start the car and the immobiliser code doesnt seem to work at all, a fob repair man looked at it and said he couldnt tell exactly what the problem has anyone experienced this problem before? Thank you

Hi, I have had a similar problem with mine, I’ve tried a few fob repair places who say that mine is working fine but it isn’t, I have tried the recoding procedure which worked on my other key but  not this one. I have asked around and everybody say the same thing, you will have to get a new one from Subaru. If you find anything different then please let me know.

Assuming we talking about Sigma alarm .
If you got one working remote and/or working pin code just pick up a tidy decent used fob off eBay, swap the fob board to your key fob and program it to your car alarm module .
