New (old - 2016) XV

Hi all. New poster.

just paid a deposit on an XV 2016 following a good test drive etc. 

I have a question regarding the interior if you someone doesn’t mind answering:

 

On the interior A frame pillars there are two protrusions… that look like speakers or cameras or microphones… can someone please advise what they are and how they’re used?
