I've got a very annoying problem – my alarm sounded randomly the other day – it turns ot it was the sensor under the bonnet. 

There is a small bowl or cap attached to the bonnet lid that shuts down on the sensor...this had come off, and the sensor switch thought that the bonnet wasn't shut, so the alarm went off or the warning beeps to tell me something wasn't shut.

I've tried to glue this little cap back in place but without success.

Can anyone tell me what this part is called or better still what the part number is?
