Android Auto Problem Fixed

Featured Replies

I've had many failed attempts to update maps in my 2019 XV 2.0 Premium and more recently, lost connectivity to the Android Auto App on the car media screen.

I saw a post relating to the AA2 auto Wifi Adapter device and invested £49 with Amazon for the AA2 -  though not too confident of success considering my very low I/T abilities.

The instructions which came with the pack were unhelpful, however,  the QR code link to my Samsung S23U  was brilliant and in minutes I had the device working.

Now I have Google Maps on my media screen, only a small unobtrusive cable from the device to the car USB port and no cables from the phone.  I can also input voice instructions for location searches from my steering wheel.

Early days yet but working perfectly - highly recommend to others who might have similar problem with the Subaru Android Auto App.
