Heated seats

Featured Replies

Were any UK 3rd gen Impreza fitted with heated front seats. We have a 2010 WRX-s, owned since 6 months old. There are two blanks where the switches would be and wiring under the both seats. That goes into the seat bases but there's no connectors under the blanks.

the switches should fit into the blank slots I would think - of course you would have to buy the switches separately but if everything else is there I wonder if the wiring is there but not extended to the switch location if not fitted from the factory - I wonder if there is an extention lead to plug into the existing harness - I would look for someone selling the same seats on eBay and you can see what is included which will give you an idea of what you need

Thanks. We were originally going to get the foam improved in the passenger seat as we're old gits and it kills my back! When I saw the wiring under both seats I started to think luxury heat. A helpful guy in Sussex sells various seat bits on eBay and he is offering the extra wiring, switches and, if necessary the seat heating pads. It's a chicken/egg situation as without taking one of the seats apart we won't know for sure whether it already has the pads fitted but the existing wiring looks promising. I'll update when things are clearer.
