Hi all. I recently bought my first Subaru it’s a Impreza r 2009 1.5 engine non turbo. I am happy with it so far but what is everyone’s opinion on them? Any one have any feedback to give? And also is there anything I can do with it to get more acceleration, speed etc?

Great cars, very reliable when the extra load added to the car from the turbo isn't there, sadly the impreza gets its performance from being turbo charged so not alot of options to improve performance in any noticeable way.

Best bet would be enjoy it for a bit, then if you want a step up in performance look at getting a wrx or sti
