How often do u guys do your cambelts? Just tryin to sort out a service but want to make sure I'm getting everything in that needs doin.

About 60k is recommended but worth doing the water pump at the same time because if that goes after you have had it done you will be paying for it to be done again :(

So mine was done at 33k I've covered 66k now. So should be ok for another 20k? But it was done 5 years ago by looks of it.

Oh yeah I would look at getting it done mate I think the book says 60k or every 5 years what ever comes 1st.

Oh bollox that's not cheep job. Only just bought the f**ker as well. Should it really matter? What is the issue of the year? If the miles haven't been done?

I think the manual says first cambelt should be done at 66k or 84 months (7 years) which ever comes first.

As mine was done at 33k and was 5 years ago does that basically mean it can do another 33k or 2 years before it need doin??

Don't use em as that reason lol , any decent garage using good parts would be about 400 I would guess

Dealer ?? My belt kit was near that much to buy but I did buy a up rated oil pump and better belt

That was just belt change. With tensioners and pump it's 1k pluss. !Removed! sake. Anyone no how much places like scooby clinic charge to do the full thing. Or anywere that's decent price but subaru skilled thanks.
