Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Was googling for bits and found this forum. Looked fun and useful so signed up. Hello all!
Scooby Pete Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Welcome along, any pics of the car? This is a good forum, very friendly and a bit mad :)
Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Will post some pics as soon as I work out how to do so. Just waiting to take delivery of a shiny new carbon spoiler so might do a little before and after.
Pommy Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Welcome mate, To upload pics the easiest way is to use photobucket or another hosting site and then embed them. Or you can upload them as attachments. Looking forward to seeing the car
Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 04 wrx, bbs multi spokes, tgv deletes, up pipe, down pipe, prodrive cat back, mapped by Richard @ Fbtuning.
Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Still not sure about the black front but it's only vinyl so I can just peel it off if I change my mind. Any opinions?
Gambit Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Good friendly bunch on here so hopefully feel right at home. thats the 1st time I've seen that done to the front end like that I sort thing though it's unique :)
Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Yeah it's a bit different. I suppose I really wanted a nissan gtr which is where I got the idea.
Tlag Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Hi and welcome. I like what you have done. It's just different from the crowd. :)
Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Thanks guys. It was my first time using vinyl wrap and it's a very difficult shape to cover for a beginner. For £15 it's a cheap but not easy mod. Better get the dreaded fuel leak sorted this weekend lol.
BoozyDave Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 car looks great, I like the front too :) did you do the tgv delete yourself? was it difficult?
Scooby monkey Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Yeah all done by me apart from the mapping. I'm a mechanic but this is my first impreza. The tgv delete is more time consuming than difficult and I only did it because one of the actuators was faulty so bringing on eml. Most important part is finding someone to delete the tgv codes when you've removed it all!
