Jammed 6 disc in dash cd changer

Anyone know the best options with this? in a 59 plate impreza boxer rx... have removed fuses but no joy, and it seems expensive and not always successful to strip them down.. Is there a good alternative unit to fit instead that will work with steering wheel controls?  audio technician saying 250-300 quid
