Since owning the forester ive noticed that when I start the car from cold that revs go to about 2k and as it gets warm it comes down.When you start your car where does your needle go to on the rev counter.Ive tried cleaning it out but its a no go

My wrx when cold goes to 1800rpm then drop to 500rpm

My forester s-turbo /gx and sti. All go to 1500 when cold idle and about 700-800 whhen warm idle.

I need a new valve then
