What size are the bolts that hold in top i/c on on a 95 wrx import, I know they're 12mm (i think) but what size thread Does it (cooler) need a bottom frame underneath it to bolt onto the engine, I know the Y pipe goes on the turbo and throttle body, but looks like it need some kind of frame to bolt on to

Seal kit or calipers
Would they be any good....edit.....they're diffirent from mine, the top bit of mine lift off and you lift the pads out, I think they're the same http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-4-Pot-Calipers-Reconditioned-with-Stainless-Steel-Pistons-Embossed-/121166048895?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru&hash=item1c360f2e7f#ht_963wt_958 Or if I did order the bits....where from

Seal kit or calipers
But it's 100 quid for seals and pistons....but probably 2-3-4 times that for calipers....I've never did seals ect before so don't know hard it is, or get (well try!) other calipers to bolt on save a lot of grief....95 wrx btw Thing is....if I did put new pistons in, what would condition could I expect the inside like, I mean if the pistons are rusty, the inside of the caliper will/might be fkd to....so would defeat the purpose and might end up having to get calipers anyway. I had a look at them today and top one o/s and bottom n/s are rusty and jammed, the other ones fine

If I stay with Subaru
Didn't work for me neither did km, Infact none of them were any good, I ended up going a local broker
-
If I stay with Subaru
Yea that's right cause my clocks only go to 110 (mph) but the miles and trip are still in kms which is a pita.....so just what the fk are ins companies about then, !Removed!!!...... Mine might an sti but bugger it, I'll try go for a uk model and save something on ins
-
If I stay with Subaru
There cant be that much diffirence in power, or is there, I read a few places that the wrx has about 250ish hp, the UK cant be far off....it's still any excuse for "them" to get money out you
-
If I stay with Subaru
And the Impreza....I'll try my damdest to get a UK model, either n/a or turbo, I just dont get it why Mr Turpin & co (ins) charge what they charge because they're imports, it's the same !Removed! car!. I was reading up on some stuff on Google and seemingly the imports (maybe not all) are not as well safety equiped, no alarm/security or very little (so what about when a buyer has a cat 1 ect!). I did a few quotes for UK turbos and imports the same years and you're talking between 150-250 quid diffirence.....that's just not on! Good old treasure island eh!

These Americans aren't scared of doing things
I know, I suppose you wouldnt get programmes like Overhaulin' ect if certain people wernt like that, the poeple doing it obviously know they'll never get their money back if they sell, but i know they dont do it for that

These Americans aren't scared of doing things
I had a look through that RS25 site, !Removed! hell, some of the things they do :o ....there's a couple did a complete dash/interior change from a 95 to a 98. I've took a dash out to repair it and out it back (old Saab 9000 a few years ago), and swaped the seats from cloth to leather....but that's bugger all to changed to a completely diffirent dash Maybe there's some here that do it I dont know, I think I'd sell it and get a diffirent model

No problem, I'll check on a hill (with the handbrake) next time I'm out Thing is, I never use it unless I'm parked on a hill and allways leave it gear too.....1st if facing uphill (as it's forward moving gear) and reverse facing downwards....dont know if that works but I'm just thinking logical

Is it the same for all imprezas with awd, not just old or new....so my brakes must be fine, back discs are gubbed but still spin

I mean just sitting with your foot on the brake, and when you take it off, you roll back a bit (or forward) I posted the same time as you Pete....so they dont roll the same as normal cars so to speak....I wondered, as sometimes there's (as you say too) no roll at all, and got me thinking the brakes were binding
-

How easy should the wrx wagon roll on hills, even slight....what I mean is, say you're in traffic and idling and on a hill even slight (whether up or down) when you take your foot off the brake, should it roll back easy like ordinary cars, or no. If not, is out because of the 4 wheel drive....or are the brakes sticking. I've spun the 4 wheels on the jack, granted they only move about 3 inches but moved quite freely....so is it because it's 4 wheel drive...I just wondered

Is it feasable to put a standard back on a stainless system
No it wont....I didnt like the green/turquoise colour it was, but I'm sure I sure I could have lived with it, as it wasnt stuffed with go faster sh1te I'll either need to try and put this one back to original (then I'd probably be ok) or sell as you say and look for another Here's the last one, nothing great I know but was fine for me :( Tried to 3 photos up from tinypic but said I wasnt allowed....dont know what happened or why
