2007 Impreza wagon for sale. I have owned this for over 5 years and really sad to see it go. £1000’s spent on parts. Including head gaskets and full engine gasket kit, cam belts, tensions, brakes and shocks no expense spared. Most of the work done around 2-3 years ago, made the car bulletproof. Never had any issues drives spot on. No rust on rear arches or underneath. Car is completely stock. Really is an amazing example for one of these cars. And in the colour to have. 125,000 on the clock, new kumho tyres 2 months ago on the front. My 2007 Impreza wrx 2.5 is due a service. Last year I used 10w40, which I initially thought was quite thick but have had no issues with. My question is what do you guys recommend in terms of engine oil grade? The car is on 110 000 miles so the thicker oil may help it but I have seen people use 5w30 as well. Any help appreciated thanks

Hi there, maybe worth doing a compression test on that cylinder 4 before getting involved with injectors and wiring? I believe the coils are not coded to each cylinder, but as you have swapped it with cylinder 2 doesn’t sound like a problem with the coil. hope it gets sorted anyway
