Hi all In order to replace the lower rubber pipe from tank to filler neck do you need to drop the rear subframe? Cheers
-
Could be the peer steering pump. When mine was letting go I had similar symptoms, the brake warning and battery light came up on the dash, was to do with the pulley sizing and belt then slipping. Could be something like that

This link shows you how to read the fsult codes, an obd2 won't work unfortunately https://www.carsaddiction.com/articles/2018/09/classic-subaru-impreza-engine-diagnostics-and-ecu-error-codes Hope this helps!

Hi guys Bit of a funny one, Google has been no use really, but is anyone aware of a bike rack for a gc8 saloon? Tried ebay etc, I know it's a long shot! Cheers
-
So I had a choice today, clean it or drive it, ended up at the Ponderosa, not been there since I used to have a bike, love it, class roads and got there before it was too busy! What a view!

I should get one saying pauper spec ππ
-
New clips sourced, will get them fitted today π
-
Cheers Mr B, will get the clips ordered, luckily it's not a daily so won't be in the road until sorted.
-
I think there are some clips missing, am I right??
-
Hi guys, see pic is this right? There doesn't seem to be anyway to fix the brake pipe to the strut where it passes through, concerned that it may rub through the pipe, I didn't remove them hence the questions. Cheers!

Saw a nice Classic Coupe on Parsons Hill in Kings Norton, anyone on here?

Now to deal with the leaky rear calipers. 1st car in the air Then get the wheels off and see the offending caliper. Although this one was obviously leaking, when I got to the other, the seals were starting to go too. You can see they badly need a refurb So I could do them myself, but I want them powder coated, so sending them off, not coming back Gold! Although are there any upgrade rear calipers that don't cost the earth that are direct bolt on? This build thread is more like a keeping the car alive threadππ’

Could be the lifters, maybe piston slap? Though not sure it's the latter though. If it was my money, I would be a bit hesitant or asking for a big discount.

That sounds loud, does it get less obvious when it gets warm?

2001 bug eye green wrx father and son project

Looks nice, I haven't seen many that age in green -
Yeah, pleasantly surprised π now I know she's pretty much OK I can start looking to get her pretty and a bit quicker, though want to keep it pretty much stock, nothing that can't be undone, any suggestions welcome!

Good news, it's no where near as bad as thought, the inside of the wing has been treated, and the arches/strut tops are not bad at all! Looks like this classic isn't for the scrapper just yet! Seemed to think it was in good shape for the age of itπ Some pics below
-
It maybe a case of getting some of it done now, and some at a later date, depending how bad/expensive it is π
-
Cheers Tidgy, yeah I'm a bit nervous, I am hoping it isn't too bad, he seemed pretty hopeful. Just need to wait now..

Cheers David, Sadly not, appears to be a seal that has gone. Car is going into the body shop tomorrow, its literally round the corner so not an issue, but the brakes will have to wait until I get it back. I've rebuilt motorbike brakes, I can't imagine these being any worse. Just a real nuisance!

All done, if that isn't the cause I guess a new power steering pump is next! Though I just noticed my rear offside brake caliper leaking, and the fluid stripping the paint off the wheel πcan't believe it, fix one thing, another springs up!
