  1. Hello mate welcome to S.O.C Stunning P1 that mate I like that a lot. B)
  2. I think the biggest problem is people still just paying off the christmas pressies :( I know i've struggled to sell stuff just recently. Has picked up now though again. :) So hopefully not be long I'd rather see them in Jays hands but will have to see ;)
  3. Oh nice not half as bad as I thought it would be :D Well I might have !Removed! off a type r driver today of the Honda kind. Overtook me and 2 other cars even though there was no need. So I reclaimed my position back in front of it a little further down the road and that was where I stayed ;)
  4. Ok ignore the picture only one I have. As most of you may know this is a new venue hopefully for us. Address: Station Rd, North Thoresby Grimsby DN36 5QS Tuesday 10th March 6pm-9pm 2014 Google Map New Inn Facebook Page Right Guys/Gals we have a new venue to try out it's easy to get too straight in from the A16 if you hadn't guessed it's the New Inn in North Thoresby. It's an easy going relaxed meet so please feel free to pop along if you haven't before and get to know some of us local Subaru/car enthusiasts, everyone is welcome you can even bring the wifes and kids ;) . As always rules apply to help keep the meets available for us, so please read below. It is our 1st time here as you might be able to tell from the picture moved it from Blacksmiths Arms so we need a good selection of cars to update the main picture ;) Hope to see you there. Happy Burbling ;) Meeting Rules 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Meeting, or in the Village. 2. No leaving litter. 3. Do not partake in any other idiotic behaviour. 4. Have fun and meet fellow Subaru owners. And as always a big THANK YOU to the owner's/management and staff at the New Inn.

  6. I'd have a look behind the heat shield if you can I've had it and found a really small stone had wedged itself in. If the brakes have started to get sticky pistons just driving would make them really hot to the point the alloy heats up to just being warm but the discs you will feel the heat coming off them. Do you drive it on a daily basis ? I know I'm selling a CRV at the minute only been stud for 3 days moved it to give it a run about and they had started to sound very grind like noise. I'd give it a blast once warm and do a few hardish braking and check for intense heat they will get hot but see if it is crap on them. It should soon clear anything off them.
  7. Welcome to S.O.C mate :D
  8. Hello mate welcome to S.O.C Thats my next job to be done is the wheels desperately need doing mine :D
  9. Oh nice wish the impreza was as easy :) I did have a welder sorted out though to do mine so was all ready to go :( just missing that actual part's :D well some ****** bought them before me ;) lol Looking forward to hearing the next report then mate :D or better yet seeing it ;)
  10. Thats great news mate glad to hear it's back on the road and the smile's on your face :D
  11. Hi mate that is one very nice looking Bug wagon. Glad to see you have been looking around already we do have some knowledgeable guys on the forum I'm not one of them I just ride on the waves of them :D But feel free to ask away we're all happy to help when we can. And all friendly bunch so don't worry about saying or doing something different :) And good to see some positive feedback being shared I like to see that for other members with in your area looking for good mechanic's. So you've contributed already :D
  12. Slam panel its basically the full frount section cut off and has to be welded on. For the headlights and the shape of the new wings and bumper on the impreza. That is anyway with new age. I was going to do it to my bug eye but missed out a full kit being sold. But I can't not treat the car so ive now spent it all well almost lol on doing other parts up [emoji106] [emoji1]
  13. Well hopefully get a few views on here :) and some people turning up :D And shouldn't worry about the computer skills :D you did alright ;)
  14. Nice job mate :) Hope to see more members posting stuff up like this :)
  15. Audi driver's [emoji35] and I seem to have attracted the attention every morning when taking my kids to get the school bus and idiot in a insignia. That when my cars on cold start. He will drive up my !Removed! to the point I can even see his head lights or over takes me sometimes. I did sit up his !Removed! last week doing the same. he didn't like that at all so over took two car's on a blind bend into a 30mph zone making the two car's infront brake to let him in before nearly going head on with a coach. [emoji35] But anyway I'm liking the sound of your car. Do you have to swap the slam panel too do the face lift.
  16. Be great get a few members going :)
  17. Yep RCM don't get much better than that. [emoji106]
  18. Oh nice job mate. I know when did the one on the blobeye I spent the next 2 weeks worrying if it had airlocked but it was all fine :)
  19. Haha The clay with be turning back into dust soon then :) But good enough excuse to get it out again to do it again ;)
  20. Did you manage to get it bled ok pain in the !Removed! to do :)
  21. Stunning mate. As for the meets I do welcome local clubs to come and advertise them for people here, but as far I think Surrey Scoobies about the only one that comes on to advertise well ScoobyPete does for them. I've even tried to get a friend of mine who does the sticker's to advertise here for his meets still nothing But anyone setting meets up I do try to help promote it when I can so might be worth just posting in the regional section see if any of the members know of meets or want to get one started :)
  22. Hi mate Welcome to S.O.C Thats maybe the best Legacy I've seen I really like that :D And as for other forums I'd highly recommend us of course we're all friendly and plenty goes on here. So feel free to jump right on in. But we're also friends with the UKLegacy and Forester forum you will see me posting in their event's pages mainly but also a great bunch I'd recommend. Well you will probably notice most of the members here are on there as well. Not sure if it's down still for maintenance though was last night when I tried to get on :)
  23. No didn't get fitted [emoji22] mate. So going to change the center pipe see if it changes the sound as it has an aftermarket back box. I'm actually waiting to hear about a nurspec too for the bugeye. I'll do recording if I remember before and after..
  24. From what I've heard the back bracket is the only thing that doesn't match up so wouldn't stop it from fitting ther than the one bracket. But I can tell you if it's from an Import with an Import cat on it forget it won't fit be about 1.3" too long. :( I found this out with the raptor for a blobeye :(
  25. Well gave the clay cloth a run out today too. I think Matt's write up is worth the read so not doing one ;) But well worth getting if you want that final perfect looking finish :)
