  5. Sounds good to me look forward to seeing the difference. from the OEM springs to the STI ones I know you could tell on farmpugs but I think you have larger alloys too so should look great :)
  6. Agreed and I like how it blends in with the sun strip, so good choice doing both :)
  7. Only one's I could find was from Hong Kong :( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAINTED-SUBARU-02-07-IMPREZA-WRX-STI-GDA-GD-REAR-WING-TRUNK-SPOILER-RISER-BLOCKS-/300914978954?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item460fee308a And I think for the STI one will be looking at around £300 with painting. or round £250 if you can find the same colour 2nd hand on Fleebay :) But what ever you choose have to post some updated pictures I might change my mind you never know :) Do you have any other plans ?
  8. Wait till you meet Simon Poole he will have you painting your finger nails :D Bit on an on going joke that. he will get it :D
  9. Congratulations on the baby :) Oh I'm sure they used to be in Rotherham :D haha unless I'm getting the names mixed up with another one from there. :( Anyway the other 2 are local and been highly spoke about :) I will look into that a bit more now will bug me :)
  10. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C and car looks nice from the profile picture :) Do you mean the struts to lift the WRX spoiler you have on now? I'm not a fan myself but depends what look you want I guess :) But I think the STI one is better looking myself :D Just had a quick look I can't seem to find any myself now :D will have another look for you tomorrow mate
  11. www.scoobybits.co.uk based in Rotherham bit of a treck but I'm sure we get a club discount there. Not sure if it will cover service but worth asking Richard Henry Autos In Bradford are meant to be good and highly spoken about Address:Unit 5 Bowling Park Close Bradford West Yorkshire BD4 7HG 01274 732 508 Fax: 01274 732 508 http://www.richardhenrymotorsport.co.uk Save to Mobile These are also good in Halifax http://www.trldevelopments.co.uk/index.php
  12. Agreed I would say it was to open the boot from the outside. if it's not is there any chance of a wide angle shot of the under side that's you have taken that picture :D And welcome to the forums :) your car looks very tidy.
  13. I blame the EU with 99% Bull !Removed! they come out with. :D
  14. In short a coil pack is the part that supplies spark to the spark plugs. you have a new age same as me so there a single unit that goes onto the 4 plugs, but I'm sure if it was there would be a misfire code, if I'm not mistaken. have you had a compression test done ? just trying to think of things it could be you seem to have done everything that makes sense to change :(
  15. Only other thing's I can think is clean the boost solenoid, and check the sparkplugs. There is the coilpacks too but would have thought you would get a code from them with a misfire. But I could be wrong. Not sure if anyone else could have a better answer or not. And sorry to hear about the ECU not working :(
  16. Sounds best bet what I would do ;) And at least you're safe in the knowledge that the injectors are clean :D
  17. Looks clean and tidy mate. I'd be telling the trouble and strife to get packing her bags :D But best of luck with the sale mate. Should sell well by the looks of her :)
  18. They can already fail for being to loud that is down to the MOT tester on the day if he feels it's to loud at the min. I would say mine is loud enough to fail. But I know him so he turns a blind eye as long as it's not dangerous :)
  19. My old man had a Granada Scorpio it was a dark green metallic colour. he also had the Ford Probe 2.5ltr too both was pretty quick. Ford man if you couldn't tell :) And I never got to drive a GTE either just always wanted one as a kid :D
  20. Not sure it will help to be fair. you can hear mine outside the car or inside with the windows up but I guess it depends on how loud it is mine is noticeable but wouldn't say loud. :)
  21. won't do any harm worth trying 1st :) It's what I would do anyway.
  22. :( should be fine as long as all the other bolts are tight and holding it in place. I would say like myself you will worry about it now because you know about it :D And was you giving the car a bit of a boot to errrm clean the injector's. Yep go with that :) and then you get the tinny sound ? If you was shouldn't worry about it should go back to normal sound after a minute or 2 of normal driving mine does it. But if its all the time like you said might be worth getting it on the ramps again and having a good look at it :( And as for the bolt I'm not sure strange that it does that when it's been put in. I would say it's forcing it past what the pipe wants to be so when driving it and getting warm and expanding is maybe the course but is pure guess.
  23. I think you would need to go back to the OEM to get the sound back mate. But would have thought you would get more power out of the one fitted now. :(
