  1. No problem at all mate. And hope it all goes well I'm sure it will be fine, and we are all here to help if you need some more advice. I just think everyone's all gone to the pub tonight and not invited me bit quiet on here :) But keep us posted on how it goes may help others if they have a problem.
  2. Just signed out and can't see anything in it :( so not fixed yet :D
  3. :( I know see loads being broken now a days sad times Just let you know we are having problems with this thread so will move it all to the Subaru For Sale section :)
  4. for some reason us Mods can see the posts for what I've guessed it's the members with less then 500 posts couldn't see them at all :( Mind you I guess if I sign out and have a look might work ;)
  5. Said this many times before it would be a risk it's like buying another car you don't know how badly the engine was treated. But yes might be a bit cheaper say £600 for a 2nd hand one P&P I would say be £50+ and £200+ for fitting maybe if you know someone. But then it could go again at least if you have had it done and you let it warm up before giving it a boost and cool down and treat her with good service when it needs it, it should last ages. But I understand it's not a cheap repair either :( But I would for my own peace of mind try get it repaired. :)
  6. I find this the best way to show people what it is this. I wouldn't drive it at all until it's fixed and when getting it towed make sure all four wheels are off the ground i.e on a flatbed truck. And you can't really say what damage it would have done until it's all out :( Hopefully you wasn't giving it any big licks when it went
  7. If you are looking for or want to sell any parts can you please not use the parts for sales section at this time, and place them in the Subarus for Sale section many thanks.
  8. Sorry to hear mate :( I hate people that sell on cars with known faults but I guess if it's bigends you never really know when they will go. I'm guessing bigends gone 2nd time I've said that today, but unsure on both depends on what need's doing to repair it but as a guess around £1.200 mark :( so not an ideal cost this close to christmas :( Does it sound like this ?
  9. Nice car shame to see it getting broken :( But hopefully some of the classic owners here could benefit from the parts :D
  10. The title is how you must be feeling right now ;)
  11. Hi Mike welcome to S.O.C And good choice with the Outback for the sounds of what you need :) And Fantastic 1st post, please feel free to have a look around the forum great bunch on here, not many Outback owners here though :( But hopefully with a few more of you be able to get it bigger :D
  12. Well I will leave it until everyone has given up. And no I don't think he was :)
  13. Nope or not that I can remember ;) was awhile ago since I have watched it
  14. Nope but close that sort of !Removed! film ;) Another clue is the Director made some of the biggest blockbusters to date ;)
  15. New shot added
  16. I couldn't really tell that much from the video to be honest I had to turn everything up full just about volume wise but the parts I could hear sounded like it. Might be a timing belt tensioner thats gone bad should be able to hear it better from under it .
  17. I will try get this dedicated room sorted for people so we can get all that sorted to share the Gtag's for both consoles, and so on :)
  18. Sounds a bit like the bigends to me mate :(
  19. I've heard people and seen people selling springs that they have got from there so should be good service. And I agree I was always under the impression it's more to to with the torque then BHP with off roading :D
  20. Yeah thats it mate this is Forza 4 getting racers ready for enough of us to make the jump over. And I would keep checking Argos I was speaking to the manager before I got mine to keep checking online next day I got mine bought. :D
  21. This is for the Xbox360 Pete with the aim to move it on to the "One" when everyone has it, so as long as you have the game and a 360 good to go mate ;)
  22. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And what I like to see another one being saved more so with the classics. You can just up the boost but wouldn't do that myself but depends on mods and service I guess but wouldn't go up by to much. I have a manual boost controller fitted but disconnected for fear of laying about to much :D And you have read right you would need to sort the ECU out before any maps could be flashed onto the car :(
  23. Thanks Tim you're a star. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise ;)
  24. Gambit replied to quit's topic in Junk Room
I admit I had a little chuckle at both the dashpod and the bumper bit. :D
  25. I like the thinking Scottishtaffy. A cattle prod: £50 An electric fence: £120 An obedient wife: Priceless
