Is that the small solenoid on the top of the engine yeah? Pipes down to the turbo and wastegate actuator . . I unplugged that and it generated a fault code on the ecu so I plugged it in , cleared tje fault and it seemed to be fine.
After that I used my mates Autel diagnostic kit and it did find a couple of codes mine didn't one being B0201 I think which was a high speed CAN communication error?.
Seems to run ok but has a really nasty splutter and power is almost completely on and off but only noticeable at 5000 rpm in 6th gear so can't really keep going out and testing it lol :/ .

Well iv checked out all the pipework on the pressure side of the turbo to the intercooler and throttle body. When I removed the IC there was a bit of oil in it? Not enough that I could pour it out or anything! Engine oil level still spot on where it was after it was serviced. Before I did that I warmed it up and took it for a run and watched the boost pressure in all 3 modes I first then Sport and S# . Tried them all from 2000 revs in second and put my food down the graph for both sports is pretty much the same see attached pic, so im still stuck really!.

I was taking the pressure from my Bluetooth OBD reader and the torque pro app logging the data looking at inlet manifold pressure. Cant remember if there was any difference in the modes now but it certainly wasnt giving more than 9.5psi . . Hopefully il be off work this afternoon to go give it a good test in all modes then see what I can find. Il let you know what I find as I do! . . Yeah I thought if it was the actuator it should throw a fault code , it was showing wastegate limits/ operation code before its last service (less than 1000 miles ago) but that hasnt come back since it was cleared off and a vacuum pipe replaced that had come off near the fuel pressure regulator.

I tried in all modes , il have another look tomorrow. I have spoken to JGM in the past and he seemed pretty helpfull , only heard good things. . . Going to have to have a good look at it and see where to go from there.

I did think about seeing someone like Jolly Green Monster as they use Surrey rolling road which is local to me and get it looked at there. . Easter egging?

Yeah torque certainly is a cheap easy solution :D wondering what the next step is , something a bit more professional that can do more?

Yeah as it runs smooth just isnt boosting enough I don't think its fuel . . Next job is to try and look at all the hoses tomorrow I think then. . On another note whats considered to be the best diagnostic kit for these hatch imprezas?

Not even a 1/4 through that tank of fuel though so not really had the cleaner through it yet.

Yeah that's what I thought . . Used my cheap Bluetooth obd reader and the torque app.
Could see it go from a vacuum to just under 10psi when it should be at full boost ? Fan cant be siezed as its producing some boost just not as much as it should :(.

Erm everything is completely stock and I've only ever run it on premium unleaded . . Filled up friday with 50l of petrol and 500ml of redex fuel system / injector cleaner :/

Car seemed pretty slow today and ddidn't seem to be boosting. . Scanned the ECU and theres no fault codes on it but its only producing 9.5psi in the inlet manifold not the usual 25ish . . Seemed to be fine yesterday then like this today . . Any ideas anyone? ?

Recently picked up an 09' 330s With the Bury CC9060 Bluetooth handsfree kit fitted. The Bluetooth seems to be working fine for taking calls etc and phone book stuff is fine . Only problem is that I cant get music to play off my phone through the Stereo?
I thought maybe it hasn't been connected to the satnav/ Stereo properly but the calls come through fine and whatever else is going on is muted....
Anyone else seen something like this or got any ideas?!

Its a 2009 and has 32k on the clock. Has been to subaru main dealer for servicing.

Hi , Going to pick up a 2009 Impreza 330s and know of some of the engine issues that some had . Ringland failier etc and wondered weather it would be worth getting it mapped or at least checked?
If so where would you recommend? Located near Gatwick but willing to travel.

Haha well the glasses certainly add to the deal ;) . . Yeah iv seen that one whilst hunting online aswell along with all the STIs on auto trader but not quite found the right one!

Yeah i have had a look and Jays does look nice but I think Im pretty much set on dark blue which is why Im strugling to find exactly what i want!.
Almost went to Scotland to look at one the other day until I spoke to the guy at length and some of the history was a bit odd!.

Ideally WRC / Mica Blue.

When I tested it at lower speeds this is what it did. It appears to climb to full boost pretty quick then trail off in the last 2 or 3000 rpm before redline.
Not knowing the performance of the turbo its self I dont know how it should look!.
