I had no idea of which parts were named which and the invoice gives no indication of the manufacturer or a warranty. Thanks for educating me. I have had enough of this clutch situation on the car now and its up for sale - how much is reasonable for a 100,500 mile Forester XD 2.0? 12 months MOT please?

Hi, Does an invoice for a clutch repair have to state exact part manufacturer and item number and warranty length? My clutch was repaired Feb 2020 and after only 25,000 miles failed this week... garage who repaied it is saying 12 month warranty expired and it could have been my driving style... INVOICE LISTS PARTS: DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL FORESTER IMPREZA LEGA £299.00 parts cost and 3PC CLUTCH KIT FORESTER IMPREZA LEGACY Parts cost £144.00 Today garage told me they fitted Sachs parts?? Does this tally with the parts costs above? Did they fit an inferior clutch and if so do I have a claim against them under Consumer Rights Act 2015? Thanks for any input.

Hi, Subaru Forester 2012 Boxer Diesel Wingmirror glass needed asap. Halfords doesn't have it. Looked on ebay/amazon/euro car parts and many more sites including abroad so if you have a second hand mirror please let me know or if you can get me the glass cut to size. I need to source some glass to fit my broken wingmirror glass (not housing) for my MOT on Saturday afternoon. If you can help please reply. Thanks!

My Subaru Forester has 100k miles. Interior lights left on and drained the battery. Tried to jumpstart with Noco Boost Plus GB40 (which has worked before) but not today. Lights, radio, headlights work but car won't start. Question - where to buy a new battery, recommended model (and who to fit it please if you are Newcastle based) At 100k is this car going to be expensive to maintain or should I look to sell? I have no other mechanical issues with it (yet!) Many thanks

Hi, The glass has broken on my right hand side drivers wing mirror. I can't seem to find an OEM glass piece for my 2012 Subaru. Anyone know where to find this please - I don't need the casing, just the mirrored glass. Thank you! :)
