    Update. Got it sorted, the CV joint comes off in two parts, there is a little retaining clip around the top lip of the joint, pop that off and it hits right off.

    Hi, I am in the process of changing my CV boots for MOT and I have changed the outer boot with my boot stretcher but it cabt stretch the inner one enough to get it over the joint, i cant find anything out there on how to remove the joints themselves, so any links or tips would be greatly appriecated thanks.
