Decent car choice! I'd probably get them to look at the suspension components too, bushings tend to wear around 100k. Not sure if that's helpful but worth mentioning.

Mate that's rough. My friend had similar on his 05 forester, ended up being about £1200 at an independent garage. Might be worth shopping around different mechanics though, prices vary loads
