    Is it possible to reset the VIN on a second-hand radio?

    Zoomie posted a topic in Subaru Legacy Club
    I bought a Kenwood stereo unit second-hand on eBay because the CD-player had stopped working on my original unit. It is stuck in 'SECURITY' mode and I cannot find any answers as to how to get around this. My local Subaru dealership doesn't want to know. My mechanic reckons it's possible to find software to reset the VIN, but I'm having no luck so far.
