  1. yeah it certainly does motor when you put your foot down, the cupra r has quite a few more goodies. this is the bam engine witch is 225bhp. dave the fr150 was my second choice as they have great mpg with the cupra looks. tbh im still concidering wether to sell this R for a fr150. we will see tho. Overall the quality is pretty good and i only have 2 little lads so space in the back is plenty for them.
  2. ended up with a seat leon cupra r. It was a very good price for the spec and im seeing good mpg as well.
  3. i agree with dave. sell what you have and replace it with a proper wrx. Just to update (please dont shoot!) i totally changed my mind on the impreza, I couldn't get over the poor mpg so decided for a totally different make. i might get one in the future tho.
  4. what sort of driving is that long run or town driving? on your figures your getting roughly 25mpg
  5. thats great advice mate, what sort of mpg you getting
  6. that was what i was thinking of tbh.
  7. thanks for the advice, not too bothered about power tbh would rather have the looks. mechanic by trade so theres nothing i cant do repairing wise. been looking at prices and they are all over the shop, nothing consistant. ideally would be my daily driver so mpg would help. insurance is extremely cheap for me as i get it though works insurance, for a fully comp gx looking at 200-300 depending on windscreen cover.
  8. right as title says thinking of getting one. As a few might say check the internet rather have personal reviews. wanting to know the pros and cons of them. any advice welcomed
