  1. I've decided not to sell anyway folkes. Gonna take my time doing it up one by one
  2. yeah i might keep it and leave the respray, Maybe ill get a new bonnet where its dented. but its the paint on the right side makes it look really bad and the roof is also quite bad, if it werent for that I could live with it, which I could repray it myself.
  3. and when the mrs gives birth, we'll have quite a big pay reduction.
  4. the thing is, i just dont have room for 2 cars
  5. Im not 100% as yet. But it is booked in next week for a respray, so not sure what to do, even if i keep it is it worth respraying? I just think its a £1000 i could use taking my mrs on holiday or something, if you know what I mean.
  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271427700535?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 I have listed it just to see what offers I get
  7. im not 100% going to sell, but would rather save the £1000 to be honest if I did. But dont want to lose money on it either.
  8. ive seen come on the net with simialr mileage for £2700. I just dont think people would buy it with the dents and state of paint work at the minute.
  9. by the way it has been remapped and running around 270bhp. and has been serviced every 3-4k. It has a straight through exhaust and forged dump valve. Always warmed up and cooled down. The interior is in mint condition, Toad alarm and everything works.
  10. Hi all, Right, im just querying, as some of you know I have a 2002 51 plate impreza WRX. It has 86000 on the clock, FSH. It does require a respray which i intend on being done next week. Does wondering what the value would be of selling after respraying or before. The car is a cat d from what it states on the log book. I have just added new caliper and full set of brembo pads. The car runs sweet, however I think im due a company car, and dont have room for two cars, and with a baby on the way it may not be financially viable. I did pay near £2000 about 3 -4 weeks ago, and have spent about £300 on it. many thanbks
  11. So I've Fitted the calipers today and added brembo front pads. And honestly they are better than the originals. The car stops a millions times better now highly recommended
  12. well, the thing is one angel eye is broken, so not 100% it would work, and there are new ones on there for £110.
  13. Cant you just ask that bloke near the time to write me out a new MOT:)
  14. I would like to swap or part ex my current wheels. They are gold but in need of a refurb. They all have decent tyres, but would like to go for black if possible, or silver. If anyone is interested, they are the same as below but in gold (camera wont upload pics) if you look on my signature, the wheels are on there.
  15. Yeah, see i dont want to ask around asking if they will pass a car without a cat. Id rather know about cv joints etc, but i think failing on a cat is stupid. like my emissions are going to stop the ice cap from melting
  16. well as far as i know its been passed for the passed 3 to 4 years at madely testing stations iron bridge, the de cat was done in 2007. just thinking ahead
  17. ive bought some brembo pads to go with them, as the ones now are crappy
  18. im not sure on this, my mate who works for nissan (not mot qualified) said it does'nt need a cat it just needs to pass the emissions.
  19. From what I understand a car doesn't have to have a cat to pass mot, it's all based on emissions. I just don't want to fork out for a cat For The sake Of a mot
  20. yeah will do. looking around theres a lot of good reviews on the diffrent website. And god speed brakes did a full week intensive test getting though 10 sets of pads, and no issues at all.
  21. £161.00 a per with warranty is a bargain my eyes. However; they only fit wrx's
  22. So, in september the cars mot is up. Looking underneath, i see no CAT so its been decatted. I know its been passed for a few years without one in Telford, however thats quite far away, so wondering if anyone knows anywhere in my area who will overlook the cat. Cheers
  23. So ive bought some wrx pro brake calipers, off ebay. They are very good from checking them out. Look as sturdy as the original. only difference is they say wrx pro on the front as opposed to subaru. Will be fitting saturday.
  24. Oh right, ive seen them on another owners site saying they'll give £100.00 as they sell a new set for £200.00 suppose £60.00 is better than nothing
