  1. last night after a right damn hard drive water level was the same, it was only this morning when I checked after the car was off all night its gone down a bit.
  2. Yes I kept filing it up to the full mark the. 2 days later it was down again I know it's nothing to worry about but sqeals but really annoy me. Oh well I'll get it sorted whenever thanks for all the help
  3. No not that I can tell. I put it into 4th and 5 th around 25 miles an hour and floor it and there's no slip but just can't tell where it's coming from
  4. right, the squeaking noise, is doing my head in. seems to be getting louder. Could it be clutch sqeal. cant see it being air con as the aircon is not on. Dont think its cam bearings as it had a full cam kit on 5000 miles ago.
  5. Yes that what I'm on about. I found the previous owners number On a service document. He's a extremely rich bloke who has spent thousands on it. He said the water level has always sat that way. Apparantly it's had a cooler radiator which makes the engine colder than most, and he's had a better suspension put on it. So I feel a bit more happier now I spoke to him and I was on the phone to him for an hour so maybe it's the way it is maybe there was an airlock or something
  6. There's no cam belt cover on it for some reason. The cars also a a head head gasket fitted . Guess that means rocket cover gasket?
  7. Has anyone else felt that if you accelerate hard as you pres The clutch and lose of accelerator the revs seem To stay there for a bit Too long?
  8. This is the recent document
  9. It had a full can belt kit 4000 miles ago
  10. Oh good. The belt was done at 3000 mile ago but it is frayed on the side for some reason
  11. In face less bubbles than that. Doesn't seen to have lost any water on the hard drive either . The squeak sounds like it's from the front but can't tell where doesn't sound like a bearing or something can only hear it with bonnet open
  12. Just been for quite a firm drive. There's probably a 3 bubbles every 6 or 7 seconds they're not continuous however there is a sqeak in the engine somewhere not sure where from but it sounds like a rotary squeak
  13. Was staying blue but it depends if my head gasket has gone or not. If it has there won't be a paint change for a while
  14. everywhere i ring, they either wont touch it, or cant get it in until end of next week. Supposed to be drving to bristol the weekend. It does like like radweld. there was the odd bubble every 4 or 5 seconds earlier in the tank
  15. just checked the water, its dyed like a greeny colour. but it has little cream coloured hard partcles in it. No sludge in top of oil cap etc.
  16. oh dear. i might just take it to a garage. im at work all day, was gong to do it tonihgt but limited on tools and dont even have a hose pipe
  17. how do i flush it? is it easy to do?
  18. ok then, surely the main radiator water level would be going down though if it was head gasket
  19. okay ill try it, just as a question though where woulf i add the radweld or similar?
  20. how do i flush the system, wouldlike to get it done asap. if i bought rad weld, bould i put it in the expansion tank next to the header, or main water compartment on the top of the engine?
  21. the header is always full also. just look a bit like dirty water you find in a puddle. I was thinking of getting some radweld but where do you put it, in the coolant plastic one or the header
  22. oh great. no it starts fine in the morning, doesnt seem to be any leaks from what I can see. There's no sludge, the oil on the dip stick looks clean. there does seems to be bubbles coming up on the plastic coolant tank ocasionaly when running it. It doesnt over heat or anything.
  23. So, looking underneath the bonnet, theres a coolant tub type thing with a plastic cap and a straw type pipe going into it. every morning, its on the low mark. I top it up the next day its on the low again. Then you got the water compartment. (the steel one with the metal cap) For some reason, there's no water level mark. So i top it up slightly with water the other day, now just checking it, its pretty much up to the top of the cap. im confused. Also in the plastic one with the straw type pipe, there seems to be bits floating round in there and looks very dirty. any help please.
  24. I'm in the midlands matey near merry hill dudley cheers mate would be great. There's nothing wrong with my wheels they just need a refurb but prefer silver
