  1. oh great. no it starts fine in the morning, doesnt seem to be any leaks from what I can see. There's no sludge, the oil on the dip stick looks clean. there does seems to be bubbles coming up on the plastic coolant tank ocasionaly when running it. It doesnt over heat or anything.
  2. So, looking underneath the bonnet, theres a coolant tub type thing with a plastic cap and a straw type pipe going into it. every morning, its on the low mark. I top it up the next day its on the low again. Then you got the water compartment. (the steel one with the metal cap) For some reason, there's no water level mark. So i top it up slightly with water the other day, now just checking it, its pretty much up to the top of the cap. im confused. Also in the plastic one with the straw type pipe, there seems to be bits floating round in there and looks very dirty. any help please.
  3. I'm in the midlands matey near merry hill dudley cheers mate would be great. There's nothing wrong with my wheels they just need a refurb but prefer silver
  4. sounds good, not to keen on the gold on mine. ill just wait to see if he can deliver and the condition of the wheels.
  5. the pictures make it lok better. The front bonnet has dents, and the rear near side quarter panel has a deep scratch and dent. Also, the sills, are flaking and the laquer on the roof is peeling. So it will be sanded down to bottom and have multiple coats. Also having a thicker layer of clear laquer,
  6. So, i figured maybe I should make a thread on here, to show you guys what im doing to my Impreza WRX. On the 28th March, it is going in for a full respray (hopefully as long as funds are available) Before then, there are a few jobs to do. So i figured over the period of the next month or so, i would post some photos of whats being done. This weekend its a full service. but obviously I doubt people will want to see photos of that. So here how it looked on the day I bought it. Apparantly it had a scoobyrace 1.5rt remap. ( no idea what that is
  7. im after some stickers too.
  8. Can you deliver mate, and do they need refurbing or anything. Oh also, will they fit a impreza wrx bug eye
  9. i used to do alot of work at east midlands airport, so can get good deals on hotels if your interested people. Will rerquire a deposit though nearer the time. Know an amazing pub for food aswell down the road.
  10. Oh gosh well apprantly mine has been remapped. That's all the mods I know of. But want the best oil for it but don't know which one to get and how much the scoobys take
  11. Right, going to service my WRX 2001 the weekend. What oil do you recommend. and how much does the subaru take? Also changing the rear discs and pads as they seems quite low and theres a clunk from the front when reversing and when you press the brake so I have a feeling the front pads have been done incorrectly. Many thanks guys
  12. can you put me down for this too please. hopefully by then the scooby will be complete

  16. i dont know who the makers are. most people on ebay just sell them. I dont want to pay £30-50 for one,as i could probably drill it out myself, but looking at it, its a standard subaru locking nut, i just need to try to find out which one it is.
  17. cant it was a dealer, and the dealer has no idea.
  18. so... Just searched everyhwere, and cant find the locking wheel socket for the damn car. attached pic of the socket i need for the nut. found this on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anodised-Locking-Wheel-Nuts-STEEL-Black-M12-x-1-25-Nissan-Subaru-Skyline-WRX-/280947795012 looks similar? any ideas. thanks folks
  19. Hi folkes. So one of the advisories on the alst mot on the bug eye, was a scored rear disc. So ive bought 2 rear drilled and vented discs with brembo pads for the front and rear. Are there any special tools needed for this etc.. cheers guys
  20. not sure, its a part hes bought for it. looks like a certain airbox modification but without cutting or drilling.
